The Choral
Maestro Giuseppe Gai founded the Corale in 1974, to support the liturgy in San Secondo’s church.
Ever since, the choir has accompanied the 11.15 Mass of the third Sunday of the month with plainchant and renaissance music. At the main liturgical feasts the choir sings written works for mixed voices.
Over the decades the choir has won a considerable reputation, its wide repertoire ranging from plainchant, to baroque, jazz, and contemporary music.
In addition to its liturgical activities, the choir gives concerts, both a capella and with orchestral accompaniment. As well as taking part in choral events, we end the year with a Christmas Concert in San Secondo on 26 December.
Maestro Mario Dellapiana has directed the choir since 2014.
