Would you like to sing with us?
If you have questions or doubts about the choir, if you want to come and sing with us or simply have more information, try to take a look at the most frequently asked questions and their answers.
1. Where and when do the rehearsals take place?
In the Head Office of Via Teatro (entrance from Via San Secondo) every wednesday from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. (except for additional rehearsals, from time to time, as required by our concert commitments)
2. How can I register and participate in your activities? Is there a selection process?
Just come to the rehearsal room and, after a little test to decide which section you suit, you can take part in the rehearsals. After a few months, both you and the committee are happy with your performance, you can join the choir.
3. Do I need to have already experience to be able to join the choir?
No, goodwill and a good ear are enough.
4. Can I join even if it rehearsals have already begun?
The chorus is basically a liturgical choir, with some extra activities for concerts and choral events, so rehearsals and performances are year round. You can join at any time.
5. Is membership free or shall I need to pay a registration fee?
Membership is free. Once admitted to the choir each member pays a small annual fee for insurance coverage.
6. What kind of music do you sing? What is your repertoire?
Plainchant, with some Renaissance motets, every third Sunday of the month.
Mixed voice music, sometimes profane, for other occasions.
7. What are the choristers' obligations?
Joining the choir means commits you to ALL rehearsals and ALL the performances of the choir, except for proven reasons.
8. How can I contact you?
